Breeder female Fat Tail question.

I know female Fat Tails need to be 50+ grams. But how long should their SVL be? I'm not including tails because I have some with regrown tails. I'm asking because my male is about 7" SVL and my females are 45ish grams and about 5" SVL. Are they normally smaller than males?

Yes females are normally smaller then males. If she is over a year old and can break 50 grams, then she is ready to breed. SVL really doesn't matter because she should be ATLEAST 1 year old before breeding.

Atleast 1 year old. Some go by weight which would be around 50 grams. You do have to remember that each gecko grows at it's own rate and no two will be a like.
