Breeding a small female?

Hi, My female that i am going to breed is not really a recommended weight. She is 48 grams as of monday and i was wondering if i am still okay to breed her this season. She is just over a year old and has a really fat tail and is very happy and healthy. I think she is just a small girl and will never get any heavier without being obese. She eats about 10 small mealies or 4-5 crickets a day, so thats a lot (she deffinatly isnt ever off her food).

So my question is, do you think she will be okay to breed? I don't want to cause her any unnessecery harm.

My advice would be to remain patient. She will reach 50g soon enough. You will still have the opportunity to breed her this season. She's not far off.
