I just needed some breeding advice. When it's time, I wanted to breed my geckos. I have 1 normal female who is ready to breed in about six months. Also a female super hypo, a female mack snow (a couple months old and defenetly not ready to breed), and a male normal who is ready to breed. I just needed tips of what might come out of my project and some tips for breeding. PLEASE HELP!!!

From that group that you have right now you can work towards Creamsicle. Since you only have a normal male when you breed him to your normal you will got normals babies, with your super hypo you will get hypos or babies with reduced patterns, and with the mack snow you will get mack snow babies and normal babies.

Now you take one of those Hypos babies and bread him back to the mom and you might get Super Hypos. Do the same with a Mack Snow baby and breed him back to his mom and you might get a Super Snow. Then take a Super Hypo and breed it to a Mack Super snow and you will get Mack Snow Hypos. After you get a Mack Snow Hypo just breed it to a SHTCB and you might hatch a Creamsicle. Something nice will be having a Super Snow SHTCTB.

Wow... That's awesome! But what does SHTCB stand for? Or did you mean to say SHCTB? Or SHTCTB?

my only advice is to research, research, research.. and when you think you have an idea, research some more, lol. if you do plan on breeding, then make sure you have the space to keep every single baby that hatches. never assume that you can sell or even give away extra babies. and remember they have to be fed as well so you will need more feeders. females can sometimes lay up to 12 eggs in one season so be prepared. if you do plan on keeping them, incubate for females. it's much easier to house females together and you can't house males together at all. just keep reading the threads here and if you get stuck, you can always ask for help. good luck!

The best advise I can give you is start reading. I just started breeding leopard geckos my self. There is a ton of information on this site, just check the archives.

I've already planned for where to put the hatchlings. I was thinking about turning my closet into a reptile room for my breeders and hatchlings. It's a nice and warm place in there. And yes, I have been doing research in a book that I got. But I needed more info, so I might buy The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos: By Ron Tremper. It looks like a good book with tons of info that's 256 pages long! I hope it has some good info.
