I am getting into the fattails, and i have heard that AFT are harder to breed than Leos? Is that True or False

Do the AFT need temps around the 90's to breed like Leos or cooler Temps?

Who here has breed them?, and do you get better results from keeping the pairs together or separate.

I keep all my leos separate, so thats why i am asking about the AFT.

And what do they need in their Housing. is it the same as leos?
And do they need a calcium dish like Leos?

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Bret

I think some AFT's need to be cycled. If you keep them year around at the same temps they may or may not breed. Additionally I've noticed some need to be cycled longer then others and some respond nicely to a humidty boost.
Some don't need any cycleing.

I've kept in pairs, trios and individually. No difference except I don't recomend breeding trios unless the two females are related as I got a nasty fight once last year. Was due to a dominance switch.
