Hey guys, just wondering if there are any breeders out there that cycle their female leos to lay all year around? Is it even possible? I understand that gravid females can become extremely stressed during this time, and that it takes a lot out of them.... I ask as in the 2 years I have owned my leos, my female has began ovulating around december time, then successful mating occurs followed by eggs, 8 clutches last year. but this year my female only layed 2 clutches, then stopped developing eggs in late january? and no eggs up until this point. my male and female are both housed seperatley, just wondered if re-introducing them would start her ovulating again or would it only happen around december time again? I use a standard cycle, no cooling period.
Cheers guys
