Breeding Feeder Roaches-Tank info?

I am looking to start a breeding colony of latteralis roaches. I have read up on it and know how to do it, except I can't find any information about the ratio of tank size to roach number. Is a 15 gallon tank sufficient for starting a colony with 500 roaches? Any advice or recommendations are very much appreciated.
