I only have one male, that is a Line Bred Snow (B+/B grade). So the three females that I have will be bred to him. He is possible het for blizzard but I do not have any females to prove him to.

I have a LBS female, a Tremper Albino female and a Bold Stripe female. So if I breed my male to any of the other females [TA or BS] I should get babies that are 100% het for TA / LBS or BS / LBS respectively. Is that right?

Then would it be ok to breed the siblings together to produce offspring that would TALBS or BSLBS?

Sorry I'm not too good when it comes to genetics.

Here are pics of the females:

Bold Stripe (she is only 2 months old so she wouldn't be bred until next season)

Line bred snows are... Well, line bred, so you can't have LBS hets. Instead, the offspring will look like a mix of both the mother and the father.

Bold Stripes are not proven to be recessive (there are people that assure they are, there are people that deny it). If they were recessive, then yeah, you would get 100% bold stripe hets.

If bold stripes turn out to be a polygenetic, then the offspring will take after their parents, and you will have a variety of offspring with a color that varies from normal to snow and a pattern that will go from bandeds, to jungles, stripes, etc.

If you breed the snow male to the Tremper albino the offspring will be 100% Tremper albino hets, and their apparience will vary from normal to snow. I don't think it is an interesting cross, because there are the Mack snow albinos and because archiving the desired results will take some generations.

I would go with the bold stripe or the female line bred snow. But that's just my opinion.

i agree with sandra...
..and i think this male with your bold stripe female can give to you some interesting offspring..he look "stripe" to me...
...depends...were the bold stripe came from?..the parents are all stripe and bold? and do you have pics of your line breed snow parents (or do you remember the pattern)?

As bad as it sounds I sometimes forget the fact that line breds are in fact line breds. I have not seen any pics of albino lines snows so I figured it would be a good project to start. I do not have pics of the bold stripes parents, she came from Dan @ Hot Geckos. The only pics of parents that I have are of the male line snow and niether parent exhibited traits of stripes.
