When breeding geckos do you have to let the male mate with the female every time she lays her few eggs? Or will she have all the juice she needs for the whole season of eggs?
I personally do 1 breeding and thats its, once she starts laying eggs I've never kept her with the male. In my honest opinion, breeding her again once she starts laying would only stress her out.
Whether they have enough "juice" to get them through a season depends on the pair. I find that first time breeders often do best if they are rebred after their first or second clutch, especially if they are with an inexperienced male. Experienced pairs can mate once and lay 6-10 clutches easily.
