I can't seem to find an answer anywhere for my question.

After laying the first clutch of the season, how much weight does a female need to gain before being bred again that season?

As ChristinaJ said you only really need to let them mate one time and the female will then lay several clutches of eggs throughout the season. The female's weight will fluctuate during this time as she will have eggs inside her and depending at what stage she is at. They usually stop eating a day or so before they are ready to lay so thats a good indicator. Just make sure there is plenty of food available again after she has laid and that it is well dusted. By the time she has finished laying for the season she will more than likely have lost weight.
I weigh all my gecko's every 2 weeks and keep a record so i have a good idea of whats going on with them all.

Thank for the info guys. I have been trying to do a lot of research before I even consider breeding, It's great to know that they only need to breed once per season, I couldn't find that bit of info ANYWHERE.

When I first got my Leo's I would weigh them every week. I had them on a routine where they'd gain 1 gram a week. They stopped eating at scheduled meal times, so I just have meal worm dishes now.

I know pinkies are good for breeding females. Know of a way I could entice my females to eat frozen thawed pinks? I'd rather not feed live if at all possible.
