breeding RETFs

Hello
I have a tank of RETFs (1.1.1). Right now, the male is attached to the female's back since last night, and I was wondering if it was ok to feed them while they're like this. This is the first time i've bred Red Eyed Tree Frogs so i'm not sure if feeding them is bad for their mating ritual.

I've successfuly bred poison darts before but not retfs :main_thumbsup:

It won't hurt anything if you toss some crickets in, but the male will not be interested while in amplexus, the female may eat.

:DAmplexus. That was the word i was looking for! Its my first time with red eyes; i'll all excited cuz they lay way more eggs than dart frogs. I already bought plastic cups for the tads when the time comes. Hopefully my PROVEN :main_thumbsup: pair wont let me down.

Good luck with them. You may want to reconsider the cups, RETF tads seem to do best when raised communally in a 10-20 gallon aquarium, I don't know of any breeders that raise them singly. Also, I have a great write-up on RETF breeding by Joey Summa that I would be happy to pass along, shoot me a message with your email address if you want it.
