breeding?????

can i put a male leopard gecko with a female leopard gecko in a plastic container, and if i do will they mate because iv seen in pics a leopard gecko mate in a container.

LOL... Just put the male in the female's enclosure. I remove everything prior to putting the male in there so they have more room and so things don't spill. He'll probably see her, shake his tail and then give her some licks/love bites. If she's receptive she'll kind of put her tail up like saying "mount me". After that copulation happens for a few seconds to a couple minutes. After he removes his hemipenes he'll clean himself. If they are no longer showing interest put the male back in his enclosure.

my male is 5 years old and my female is 1 and a helf years old. and my male is 9 inches and my female is 8 inches. and thay havent mated yet.
