hey Guys

Today after cleaning, I noticed that 2 of my geckos nails had broken. Is this common? he's way to small to trim them, and its not like he sharpens them like a cat. He's about a year and a month, and I did notice in the past 3 months the nails where getting long and sharp. Is this a vet visit? for the most part he is fine eats and sleeps and poops like normal, so it doesn't seem to stress him.

But of course since he is my baby I worry.

any input?

just be sure to look at it if theres any cause of infection. Do you have repti carpet with loops cause the loops can snag your leo's nails

i never heard of trimming leos nails. what do you have in your tank? he probably snagged them on something. shed issues can make their toes fall off.

I don't think you are supposed to clip a leos, nails but maybe it got snagged like vctkiller said, but usually if they got stuck shed on there toes there whole toe falls of not just the nail
