broken tail in breeding

Hello I'm back for more advice. Ok my male I put in with my 4 females like 5 weeks ago and no eggs yet but I woke up this morning to my male with half his tail gone. Why. What should I do. I got cream from petco that they got from a vet but I don't know if I should put this on his wounds well he be all right should I see a vet . Thanks and god bless to all

Hm... I think one of the females didnt like him too much. I would put him on paper towel in a different cage, the tails grow back pretty quickly. Also they might be competing with food. So you may have to take the trouble maker out of the group. He should be fine. Hope he feels better.

I agree. Keep him alone on paper towel for awhile unt9il his tail begins to regernerate. Sorry this happened...
