So, I initially planned to take these pictures a lot earlier in the day (thought I'd take advantage of my day off and the beautiful day to bring the geckos outside) but I ended up running around town a bit so to speak so of course these were taken as the sun was beginning to go down so the lighting looks very sombre. But, nonetheless it depicts these geckos colours quite well. Heres how my 2013 Juveniles are doing (all three are hitting that big growth spurt at the moment)
Diablo Blanco is finally out of that pink-looking face and getting whiter and whiter every week it seems. Obviously she hates the light so her eyes were closed most of the time.
Im actually pretty lucky, all this ones siblings have less than 50% of red in both their eyes. Thus far this one has a small spec of "regular" in one eye and the other eye is still 100% red
Tangerine Tornado female (she looks a lot more orange and less yellow in person):
This one is the closest I can get to showing her real colour, really pleased with the amount of carrot tailing on her:
Finally my Phantom Marble Eye (this year he'll get a phantom 100% ME female and if the Tang Tornado gets to size I may breed him to her in early 2014)
He was the last gecko I took pictures of. His brightness (especially of the orange on his head and around his bands) doesn't show up whatsoever in these pics. The only reason I'm posting them up is cause I don't want to admit to wasting my time with these pics, lol.
And finally, I'm really happy with this picture of his eye, even though its not really in great focus. Plan to get a good quality camera during the 2014 season, because these eyes in person are out of this world.
Thanks People!
