bulb went out.. temporary replacement ideas?

hi. my heat lamp bulb went out. .. i still have a UTH that works, but Until i can visit the store, tommorow to pick up a new one, what works?

is a 40 W Regular light bulb OKAY? or is that to bright..

do i need one for sure ? or are things gonna get too cold that I should just put the 40 w in ...

What is the temp on the warm side above the UTH? I would think that if the UTH is appropriately sized, it would be perfectly sufficient. I use UTHs for all of my leos in tanks and nothing else (even in winter in northern Michigan )

It depends on how cold your room gets. Remember that leos can and do in the wild have significant temp drops. It can get into the low 60's at night. This will not hurt. Many breeders turn off their heat source all together for a month or more in the winter to Brumate their geckos.
