Anyone try feeding their leos butterworms? What did they think?
I hear these are highly addictive and to only feed as a treat.

I have never seen them before until the other day.The pet store had a few and so I bought 4.It was supposed to be 2 per gecko. However my male,Bear had NO interest in them at all and Mystta (my female) ended up eating all 4.

Maybe they're addictive, but that's fine. They are excellent nutritionally; it is a total myth that they're a poor feeder. They're very high in calcium & low in fat.

I have one gecko that eats just butters, some others eat them as a treat, too. They're too expensive for practically anyone to use as a staple with a large number of animals. I usually buy 100 for $25 or so at expos; I'm doing that tomorrow.

Yeah...I paid .75 each for 4 buttewroms,so I can see how they can be expensive!
