Most 06's seem to be sold out except for a few here and there.

What is the best time to buy Leopard Geckos?
When is peak season for properly/visually sexed 07's?

If found that the best time to buy is in june-november. Leos breed from like january through september (a few of mine started in december though). Eggs hatch in roughly 2 months, so most breeders start getting hatchlings in march-april. From April on eggs could be hatching any day, so summer is when most people are selling. As for visually sexing, the longer you wait the better your chances. I prefer to buy adults anyways.

I would like to buy some yearlings/adults, but most seem to be sold out at the moment based on all the websites or some just have a few females for sale.

I guess the best time for me would be somewhere around July/August/September as babies hatched March & April should be visually sexed around that time. OH well, I guess we have some extra time to prep the Terrarium...LOL! In the meantime I guess I'll keep checking KS and Fauna.

I have emailed and called a few. They are either sold out of 06's or just have a few females of this or that. Most tell me they are expecting hatclings in a few weeks and can give me a pretty good guess on sex based on their incubating temps, but it is not a 100% guarantee.

We're in no rush...

i have alot of babies i have had some that are sexable but the last show wiped me out of them almost. i still have some that are sexable and with in the next month i will have close to 100 ready to go

I have been looking for a few female (TR)PAs recently and have been to many sites and talked to about 15 breeders on here. What morph are you looking to get? I may be able to point you in the right direction. Also you can post an ad in the leos wanted section and depending on what you want you may get some quick results.

Thanks everyone, just off this thread I got a few good leads. I'm interested in a number of morphs, but since we can't have them all, I guess my 1st pick would be Hybino/Sunglows.

For Sunglows/Hybinos, I'd talk to either The Urban Gecko or Pat at Luxurious Leopards. I got my male 45g Hybino het RAPTOR for 225 shipped
