Hi! I have a quick question that is how many fertile clutches can a female produce by one breeding? When expedient to breeding them again? I want to make sure. Thank you very much!:)

A female can produce several clutches from one breeding. I only pair up my geckos once or twice a season. Most of my females start out laying one clutch every two weeks. They slow down as the season progresses.

Mine often start ovulating for a second clutch several days before they lay the first clutch. I've had females lay with as little as 9 to as many as 21 days in between clutches. I've been keeping my male in with my females for the season so I can't speak to how often they breed from personal experience. I would assume that it would depend on general conditions and the initial pairing whether a female could produce fertile eggs for a whole season or just a few clutches before needing to breed again.

All my females this go around are first year breeders. One has already given me 10 eggs in five fertile clutches since she was paired on January 15th. The other two in that group have produced 5 infertile/1 fertile and 1 infertile/5 fertile respectively. All are still going strong and look like they should give me at least 4 more eggs each.
