Hello all
How often do you clean your gecko tank, as in completely strip it down and wash it out? I clean the food and water dish daily or every other day. I use brown paper lawn bag as substrate, and plastic caves as hides. I keep an extra strip of paper in the corner where he poops and replace it daily. I've changed the substrate twice since getting him a month and a half ago, but have yet to wash the tank. With this being said, how often would you do a complete cleaning of a set up like this?
Also, what do you use to wash the tank? So far I've read that very diluted bleach solution followed by a thorough rinsing is best, but is there anything else that can be used?
