Cage Cleaning Tips?

Hi everyone, I know this question must get asked a lot, but I've looked through the forums and still am not completely sure, so I apologize in advance!

I'm new to leopard geckos and will be getting my first girl soon from a breeder, and I have been getting her terrarium ready. It is a glass 30x12x18 with slate tile and paper towel bedding. The tank is new, but had the typical pet store dust and junk on it, so I have washed it with antibacterial liquid dish soap several times. For the tiles and accessories (fake silk plants, drift wood + fake plants, extra tiles, and hides), I have washed them in the same soap, then submerged them in a sealed tub filled with soap and boiling water for 30 minutes before washing them again. Is this method okay? Or it actually putting the decor in a boiling pot what you're supposed to do?

Then what is my next step? Will wiping the glass, tiles, hides, and water dish with diluted Nolvasan be enough to make sure it's clean for her arrival? And for the pet store plants and driftwood, what is the best way to get them completely clean? One of the pieces I bought is very mushy even after the other wood has dried, so my gut is telling me it's a dud piece or perhaps I ruined it!

Next, after I get her, is Natural Chemistry Healthy Habitat to spot clean, and liquid soap + boiling water then Nolvasan wipe once a week enough to keep her cage clean? Is Nolvasan safe to leave on her water dish, or should I rise it again before using it?

Again I apologize for so many lengthy newbie questions, thank you for reading and for any help you can offer! This is my first post so I hope I have not broken any rules, I'm having a lot of pre-gecko jitters :D

EDIT: Got the answer, thanks!

I use ammonia to clean my tubs and tanks monthly. It smells horrible but it is an excellent disinfectant. Just make sure you rinse well.
