ok i planed on using a peice of 1/8" glass for the front of my cage that im building but the glass that i was giving was timperd and you can not score timpered glass it will shader. so can i use screen for the front? if so would metal or plastic screen be better? thanks

why not use plexi glass? its pretty easy to cut and score

plex would be great. but i have $0 and i dont have a peice that big lolol its all good tho!! a good friend of mine just gave me a 20 gallon! lolol now i have another question! i want to add a second level to the 20 ( because its a tall 20 ) what side would you put it on the hot or cool side? thanks

Essentially you could put the levels on both sides. It really does not matter. I personally would put most of the levels on the cool side, while putting a little on the warm side.
