Well I'm getting a Leo from a petstore and the substrate they use is calci sand. I heard people talking about using vegetable oil or something to help clean out there system just in case they ingested any of the sand. Is this true? If it is how do you do it?

Yes. Use olive oil or the like and give her warm soaks. It should clean her right out if she's backed up.

I would wait to see if it defecates normally first, no need to add the stress of force feeding oil on top of the stress of moving unless there is a clear problem to be addressed.

I agree 100%. If the gecko appears to be impacted after it settles in and starts eating, use a few drops of mineral oil. Vegetable and olive oils can be absorbed in the GI tract, where mineral oil will not so much.
