Calcium supplements?

From what I have read, the most commonly successfully used supplements have been the Repcal supplements. I have been using the T-Rex all in one, which I plan on finishing up and then using Repcal. I am just about to place an order and plan on ordering Repcal Calcium without D3 (to leave in a dish in the cages at all times), Repcal Herptivite, and my question is whether to get the Repcal Ultrafine Phosphorus Free with D3 powder, or the Original Repcal Calcium with D3?

Thanks!

I do use the Ultrafine calcium w/D3 once a week. I was told the vitamins have some D3 in it so the gecko actually will be getting D3 2X a week. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

You should also be using Rep-Cal's Herptivite. It has important vitamins and minerals that your gecko isn't getting from it's food and other supplements.

Thank you so much everyone that replied!

I ordered (and have received) the Repcal Calcium w/ no D3, which I am leaving in small mealworm dishes all the time in the cages (and dusting with on the days I don't use the other supplents), the Repcal Herptivite, which I am using 1x a week (dusting), and the Repcal Ultrafine Phosphrus Free, which I am using 1x a week (dusting).

Is this enough/too much D3?? (2xs a week if the Herptivite also contains D3)

Thanks!

I don't believe Herptivite contains any Vit.D3. I use Rep-Cal w/out D3 in the mealworm bowls, and feed crickets weekly with calcium w/D3 and Herptivite. For laying females, I use calcium w/D3 twice a week.

The container was right there, and Heptivite says nothing about containing vitamin D3. If it did have D3 in it, my beardie would be gone by now. I just figured i would solve that.

OK......in an earlier post I thought someone had mentioned that Herptivite contained D3. So, should I be giving Repcal w/ D3 2xs a week then? (these are juveniles, so not laying females at the moment)

Thanks again for the replies!! Everyone has been a great help!!

I was the one that said it contained D3. I was going off of what my vet said, but I too looked at the label and saw no D3 ingredients. I think my vet was thinking of a different multivitamin brand. My mistake guys and gals.
