Calcium & Vitamin Supplements - is this right?

Alright, this is one of the only things that still has me a tiny bit confused

Rep-Cal Herptivite - is the vitamin supplement
Rep-Cal Calcium (No vitamin D3) - is the PURE calcium that you'd put in the dish inside the gecko's cage for a 24hr all access
Rep-Cal Calcium (Ultrafine with Vitamin D3) - is what you'd dust the feeders with along with the vitamin supplement

Please let me know if I've got it right or if I've got it all wrong lol I want to get this straight in my head WAY before I even get my geckos so that I don't screw anything up later

Thanks

Hi Jessica
Yup-you have it right but I use the pure calcium more than the one with Vit D
I use the pure calcium on every insect feeding except once per week when I combine the Herptivite and the Calcium with D3
I use cuttle bones for my pure calcium

I think that everyone has their own way/schedule for dusting-this is just how I do it

Cuttle bones sound like something I'd like to try. Do you just ground them up into a powder? Also, I read something somewhere about calcium and posphorous, and that you should get a calcium powder w/out posphorous. What is the phosphorous from and what is the problem with it?
