Simple question that no local pet stores can answer...actually most tell me other than dusting a dish isnt needed.

What are some names of calcium brands to offer my gecko in a dish and where can i buy/order it? My petstores only seem to carry calcium with D3 which im pretty sure i only want to use for dusting. Thanks for the help!

Most of the big names like Flukers, ZooMed, and Rep-Cal make plain calcium supplements. There is no significant difference between any of them, whichever you can find will do the job.

Just any calcium without D3; I use Rep-Cal.

Not being wise but:
Who knows best if a gecko needs
more calcium?
I say the gecko.
A dish lets him/her decide.
Dusting doesn't always get the
job done if they don't eat or it rubs off
the prey first.
Calcium Carbonate is obtained from
Limestone, other rock, and shells.
Many products can be obtained,
with out additives in bulk, from a farm store.
(instead of a small quantity for a
large price at pet shops.)
Then I fortify with Vit. and Min.
Now four years with this process & no problems.
Problems can happen in humans if
too much Calcium carbonate is taken.
Not very likely in geckos since they sense
the need.....
Humans don't have that advantage.
Take care. HJ
