Hi everyone:

I have a question. I need a calcium container for each of my shoebox racks and need to know where is the best place to acquire little cups so that precious room is not taken up with large dishes.

Does smart and final have anything? I know several use milk tops, however I would need 50 of them and tat would take a while to accumulate.

Thanks,
B

we use 35mm petri dishes bought from E-Bay, 20 for about $10 shipped. This gives you 40 dishes when both the bottoma nd lid are used. hope this helps.

I use the caps of old Calcium bottles or the caps of most vitamins bottles. They're small but have some depth and don't take up much space.

I use the petri dishes for mealies.

good luck.

I use glass votive candle holders found at walmart. I actually keep my mealies in a calcium dish so that only two bowls take up space (water & food/calcium). The glass prevents the mealies from crawling out.

raid the spice cabinet. some lids for spices are perfect. as long as they don't have the lift up tabs with holes in them because those are a pain to clean.
