just wondering if its norma for my baby gecko to be so calm. its about 3 months old and ive had it for 4 weeks. its really good at being handled and seems to like it when i take it out of its tank now. when i first started handling it it would freak out but was fine was it was in my hands and now i can just put my hand next to it and it will walk straight onto my hand

It's great to have such a baby. I have a MS Enigma female, who just adores being held, likes when I stroke (I am not certain if thats the word) her back gently, just a perfect gecko. There is also an MSS Bell Albino female, who took more time to get there, but is now just as cute.

On the other hand I have geckos who never liked being held, and will never do, so I envy you such a nice baby - you are going to love it most in the world :)

All geckos have different personalities. My female does not like being held at all really, she is quite skittish. My male has always been incredibly calm and indifferent to being handled(even as a baby), his sister wasn't too keen on handling, even though they were both from the same clutch.

I have 4 juvies, 2 of them I bought together back in March, and only one tolerates me holding him, but it took him a while to get used to me. The other is still skittish when I even open his cage. The other 2 juvies I bought a week apart. One of them is a very tiny blizzard, and he is very skittish. The other is a Murphy Patternless, younger than both of the others. and he is SO sweet, no problem holding him whatsoever, he's very calm. So, yeah, all Leos are different when it comes to handling!
