My oldest female Daisy that ive had for about a year is being a little weird.
Shes prolly about 14-16 months old now and has never been with a male.
She doesnt seem to be showing any signs of having eggs but she has taken to digging quite a bit. She has always dug around when she wants to come out but the last few days shes been doing it more and seeming a little restless.
I do have 2 males in the same room but if she sees the one in the plastic tank she doesnt give any indication of it and i think they are far enough apart that she cant smell them.
So i was wondering if a female that hasnt been bred and doesnt seem to be ovulating can still get maternal instincts where they want to have babies and so are immitating the egg laying routine kinda thing?
I know it sounds silly but i thought id ask incase it can shed some light on her behaviour. Thanks for any help or advice
