Can Geckos Climb Stairs? What can they squeeze in?

I have carpeted stairs ,so assumed the gecko could climb it. But there is a wooden lip at the to that is rounded off, would a gecko be able to climb over that, specifically a baby? My gecko escaped, and the dryer and frigde are upstairs, so before i move all that heavy metal, i was wondering if its even possible for her to get up there?
There are also heat vents on the ground upstairs, but the slits are about only a centimeter apart. How much space does a baby leopard gecko need to squeeze into the heat vents?Ik she can fit under the door, which is about an inch

Whether or not she would be able to get over the wooden lip at the top depends on how slick it is. Without seeing it/touching it, that would be hard to say. But leopard geckos don't have sticky pads, so if they can't get purchase with their toenails, they can't climb things. Depending on how big your gecko is now, it's also hard to say whether or not she would fit in the heat vents. I have seen my gecko flatten her head such that she would at least be able to fit that, but I don't know how much they can flatten their bodies. I do think it's likely that provided your gecko found a safe warm place to hide on the main floor, chances are she wouldn't have ventured up the stairs. Try putting out some meal worms near her tank (assuming that's where you last saw her) and see if she comes for them. Good luck!

I would guess that with carpet she would be able to climb it she could get a good grip and if your searching for it check small tight places similar to a hide they make it feel more secure I lost one of my geckos once and found it in a paper towel role on the other side of the room
