Can i be sure that my leos are regulating their own calcium intake? I've read that some people don't put calcium on mealworms bc it kills them faster. If i don't put it on their food, can i be sure they are taking it in from the calcium dishes? What do you guys do?

Yes, they do regulate how much calcium they take in. As far the killing the worms, I believe that it is because the calcium gums up and suffocates them.

Some of my geckos LOVE calcium. I can tell with all of them if they are eating because if you use a light weight bowl, they will have it all over the tank, AND you will see tounge marks in the powder.

I have some that will eat a spoonful every week.

i havent seen my baby lick it yet, and the powder doesnt look like its been touched, does that mean it doesnt need the calcium or that it isnt using it?

My geckos used to lick it all the time until I switched to putting it on the food and in the food bowl.
