Hi... I have a male and female together right now in a 20. I have my turtle in a 40 and we are planning on moving him to pond in the back yard and I was wondering if I once I put the two in the 40 could add two for females. I would then have a spare 20 gallon if needed. Thanks :D:D

How old are your geckos? Are you planning on breeding because if you are then you'll need more than a spare 20 gallon tank for that.
I would advise against housing a male and female(s) together full time just because I know it can stress the female(s) and could cause them to become aggressive.

Well I was planning on having the 20 for the male for over winter and after the females are gravid. I do want eggs/babies. I already have people who want babies if I get them. My male is about 3-5 years old I forget sorry and my female is 6 months I wish it were the other way around but I want to split them up so she get older and bigger

Well I was running planning on having the 20 for the male for over winter so she can gain weight and after the females are gravid. I do want eggs/babies. I already have people who want the babies If I get them to hatch and breed successfully. My male is 3-5 years old I forget sorry and my female is 6 months and 4 days. I wish it were the other way around so I knew she could successfully breed but I want to split them up so she gets older and bigger

You probably separate the pair tell the female gets older. Six months is far too young for a female to breed. Also, if you plan on getting more females Inge future, they need to be quarantined for a couple months before being introduced to your other Leos.

Ok thanks if. Get the two females at the same time would they have to be quarantined separate or can they do that together because they would be from the same breeder

If they came from the same place and are the same age then they CAN be quarantined together, but it's always a good idea to separate them to make sure that they both are healthy. If they are housed together and one is unhealthy, it is hard to tell which one needs the attention. Also, it could spread it's illness to the other one. Also, after a move leos tend to go off food for a little. If one eats sooner than the other there is a good chance it will either bully the other one out of food, or eat all the food before the other one can. I suggest feeding separately.
