Hey guys, I got a new adult female leo about a week ago. She has seemed to settle in happy enough and is eating well. I want to add another leo into the viv (preferably male) and was wondering can I do this? The viv is 20 gallon. Also is it even a good idea to have a male permently in with my female? thanks for all the help guys!

I woulnt permanently put a male in with a single female. The male will continually badger the female during breeding season and cause stress.if you really have your heart set on putting the male in I would make sure i quarrantine the female for 60 days and then I would make sure they are both the same size.If u put them together watch them for the first 5 minutes to make sure they get along.

from my experience with keeping a male with a female, the male will harass the female almost constantly (depending on the time of year and gecko) to breed. This will stress your female out. So just keep your males and females seperate unless its breeding season. I hope that helped.
