can I use vegetable oil instead of glycerin for wax worm rasing

hi I just have an idea for use vegetable oil to mix with whey germ fo rasing wax worm. due to my understand glycerin is use for keep whey germ moist and that all . Thank you

I read on some sites that you can use just honey and wheat bran.

I start my 4 jar today . I guess I put too much vegetable oil in my whey germ so It cause some of my wax worms drowning, So please beautifully when mix your whey germ with vegetable oil and honey . I think it will work fine instead of glycerin but just dont put it too much

Would it be safe for a gecko to eat?

I am not sure yet but I have pick some worm up from this mix and feed to my gecko and all are fine now

It might hurt your geckos later. I don't think it is a good idea.
