I assume this is a baby for one, but why? Is there any good purpose? Or is it just cool to watch and doesn't stress them out?

Agreeing with Marcia, it looks like it's soaking. Soaking is usually done to help them with shedding.

Yea, I was thinking that where is stopped being matte, it was water. Thats deceiving.

Moral of the storing: Don't let your geckos swim.

No there is no water. Look at his shadow, there would be ripples from the gecko moving in the bath. I could be a CSI!

Water line?

Well I see a water line in the tub, will it drown the little guy?

But I do see water in the tub, good thing, maybe, maybe not, bad thing maybe, maybe not, CSI needs Rehab on this one YES

The leo may be soaking to get rid of a bad shed maybe maybe not, even so its too much water, but if that is the case at least they tried and they obviously watched the leo while soaking since they took pics, they didn't just sit em in there and run off.

IF they are trying to see the leo can swim its a bad thing, but they still did not just run off and leave em, or at least they didn't til after the pics were taken.

at any rate there is water is there to get a debate or its a great phtoshop version to tick us all off.

To me it looks like just the lid of a tub, and that is maybe less than a 1/4 inch deep lip around the edge. The bottom of that lip, looks a bit like the "water line". The part that is stamped rubbermaid, only looks raised, slightly above that lip.

Since I do not think that is the bottom part of a tub, it could`nt be very deep IF there is water in there.:main_robin: If it was, the middle of that tub would be a hard spot to clean, being stamped with a logo like that. :main_laugh:

Thats just what I see, but who knows. This is kind of a tricky picture! :)

I just think it's a little weird when people want to see their pet _____ (you decide which kind) in water to see if it can swim. If it doesn't have webbed feet, I just don't do it.
