can someone help me understand the diablo blanco morph?

I am knida confused on this one. I thought the diablo blanco was a blizzard Raptor. I just got a blazing blizzard and I don't know if it's het raptor or not but assuming it was, like I was going to try proving it out, and I bred it to a raptor het blizzard would I get any diablo blancos? I found a person selling some Mack raptors, which I'm assuming is a mack snow raptor, that were het diablo blanco albino. I asked them an they said I would have a chance at producing blazing blizzards but the diablo blanco line is a different tremper albino bloodline than a blazing blizzard. so I guess I'm just confused on the genetics. Can anyone help me understand this? I'm really new at the leo morphs and genetics, corns were much easier for me to understand, lol.

You would need two copies of eclipse, blizzard, and Tremper albino genes.

If your Blazing Blizzard was het for RAPTOR then it would be a Tremper Albino Blazing Blizzard and het for Eclipse. if you breed it to a RAPTOR het Blizzard then both parents would each have copies for the 3 main genes needed to make a Diablo Blanco (as stated above). It would be best to know what your geckos morph actually is. Knowing which albino morph it is and if it is het for anything will help you to know what the possible outcomes could be. I would contact the breeder to double check.

ok, do all raptors have red eyes? Because the pics this person sent to me of the mack raptors, they don't have red eyes, they don't even look like my aptor. they have a grey/purple pattern on their back and head and yellow body color

You want solid eyes or snake eyes

LoL those are not mack raptors. They are not even raptors. No visible eclipse gene (snake or solid eyes) or even the common signs (white nose, white feet/legs)

They must be confused about the parents or the parents genetics.

Also what they said doesnt make sense...
"diablo blanco line is a different tremper albino bloodline than a blazing blizzard." this is completely untrue. A tremper is a tremper is a tremper. Now if your blazing blizzard was a rainwater or bell albino that is a different story, and also not very common.

To answer your question...
Blazing Blizzard het RAPTOR X RAPTOR het Blizzard
25% Tremper het blizzard eclipse (Diablo Blanco)
25% RAPTOR het blizzard
25% Blazing Blizzard het eclipse
25% Diablo Blanco

Yes you could produce Diablo Blancos. If the blazing blizzard is not het eclipse then no chance at all with that cross

Thanks so much! I thought those didn't look like raptors. I see albino, could they be Mack albino? Now I have to figure out a nice way to tell them that I don't want them after I've been talking to them for 3 days about these, lol.

Just tell them you want the eclipse gene and none of those have it. I will post a Mack raptor so you can see the difference.

oh! very pretty mack raptor! I'm sorry for all the questions, but if they got the morphs of these worg then there's a big chance that the dad was not a diablo blanco? do the ones they have look like they are mack snow? I'm just wondering if it would still be worth it to get one of these females if they are het diablo blanco and even if the blazing blizzard I have turns out to not be het raptor i could still get some blazng blizzards and blizzards out of it? reason i ask is because they are selling them pretty cheap and want to trade for one of my snakes. I'd really like a diablo blanco and I know these not actually being raptors will greatly decrease my chances of making one, and I'd prefer a mack snow raptor het diablo blanco but I don't see any for sale and I don't have any money anyway to buy one, lol. These really wouldn't cost me anything. What would you do?

THORGECKO will have a lot of Mack raptor het db next year. I'd wait. Lol

I dont know if I would get anything from a breeder that doesn't know what they are selling or is labeling animals wrong. Waiting for what you want to become available from a trusted breeder would be the way I would go. Plus you would have a chance to do some more research on the genetics.

Ok, that's what I figured. That's how I am with my cornsnakes and should be the same with leos. I was just so excited then so dissapointed when I saw the pics. Just sent them an email telling them I was looking more for the eclipse gene. Thanks everyone! You are all so nice! Thorgecko will you have any diablo blancos too and will you be temp sexing for females? I am still LOVING that mack raptor btw! Keep having to go back and look at that pic!
