Enigma is as some look pretty cool and other look like normals to me...Help the untrained eye..

The significance of an Enigma is (1.) the eyes and (2.) the markings. If you compare an Enigma and non Enigma side by side, you can clearly see the difference. Best to do some searches here to see what I mean.

i too have asked this question and never really got a real anser, i got some deffititions tossed at me, but no real explanation... and was also told to go look at pics... wich in all due respect when you dunno what your looking for looking at pics is a good as shooting in the dark... JMO... i have figured out it has something to do with the eyes i think and the spots... ive seen some really neat pics of em, and some that are not... i couldnt tell you the difference wich just tells me ill probally always pass one up *shrug*

Thanks for the reply but..."markings"...could you give me and im sure others an example of one next to a normal. and the thread posted a link to some enigmas but Half looks as if they were normals to me..im just trying to understand what Im looking for..

For the most part, Enigmas have predominantly white tails with little spotting if any, though I have seen some with more spotting than average. They also have very nice looking eyes, often an amber like color, but not always. Snow Enigmas eyes don't look very different from others, at least in the case of my own, with the acception of the Super Snows and Eclipses which both have solid colored or partially Eclipsed eyes. I hope this helped some.

The spotting is totally different.. on Enigmas, it's more speckled and totally random, whereas normals will be completely covered in spots. There will always be some that just don't look very different at all..

This is our Bell Enigma, Mystery.. She has really different eyes, but that's it. Her spotting isn't very different at all, she actually has spotting similar to a Super Snow, and her tail isn't completely white like many Enigmas'. She does not, however, look anything like a normal Bell, which I don't have a picture of.
