Can talking about racks ever get old?

Well, maybe it can, but I'd like to revisit the subject anyway. As we draw into winter and begin planning for next year's babies, I need to figure out what racks I want to add to my gecko room. I've done most of the easy work, figuring out price comparisons and such, but would really like to hear from keepers here on their preferences, experiences, and overall opinions. My adult racks are Animal Plastics, but I'm willing to consider other options for hatchlings, such as Reptile Basics, Rhinoraxx and C Serpents Reptiles and Racks.

Sterilite v. Iris? Which has more floor space? Belly heat v. back heat? What do you like most about your current racks, and why did you choose them?

I picked up a few racks from garrick. They are AP 2221 models that are designed to use rumbermaid 28 quart tubs but they are discontinued now. The sterlite 28qrt work fine for them though. These racks are set up using commercial electric supply heat cable. I made my own rack almost identical to ap's in size and function just made out of melanie wood. The heat cable is a nice route to go my temps are consistant and safe. Only downsize is the easyheat cable HB03 will run about $50 for 9ft and you still need the connector, it well worth it though and from what I heard a lot safer then flex watt.

I love talking about racks, I love watching you tube videos on differed style racks and the way people house their geckos(though some peoples methods anger me at times). There is just so much flexibility and options with racks, and they are pretty fun to construct and build! Quick question, do you guys reccomend the 4 in or the 3 in flexwatt?
