i traded for a gecko that was supposed to be a banded raptor.it doesn't really show the eclipse though, but he got it at lllreptile and they said it was a banded raptor.is this possible?also,do eclipse eyes dialate(spelling?),or do they always stay the same.she has the normal albino eyes as far as i can tell.i have also seen raptors with eyes that don't look eclipse, but were all labled as raptors.

Can you post a picture? Eclipses do occasionally show up with little or no eclipsing of the eyes, but the white nose is a dead giveaway.

Here is one of mine, she has a normal eye and a very low % snake eye:

And you can have one born showing a slight eclipse to the eye but fades to normal as it grows. I have a raptor that hatched this year that now looks to have normal eyes but it was very apparent as a hatchling...

Based on the nose he does not appear to be a RAPTOR. Perhaps they got confused in their labeling and he is a Tremper het Eclipse (het RAPTOR).

def just a tremper, that's why you have to be careful getting "patterned" raptors that's why i dont mess with them, all of my raptors are patternless, if not theyr'e not raptors, just eclipse trempers.
