one of my lg laid unexpectly, i had bought her and i nor the seller new she was gravid so when i went to clean her houseing out in 4/20 i was surprise to find two eggs, i checked them regulary but i have no idea when she actually laid they looked healthy so i put them in incubator and one molded bad so i discarded that one. the other egg seems fine and healthy but when i try to candle it i see nothing. i know i am doing them right because i have done it for other gecko eggs and i just did my ball pythons eggs yesturday. any info helps thanks

it doesn't hurt to incubate bad eggs. if it isn't a bit pink by now i wouldn't expect it to hatch.

Why is that?

You're moving them getting oils on them.. in the wild they're buried and don't move till they hatch

Could that be why my eggs went moldy in a week and a half?

possibly.. but more likely they just weren't fertile to begin with

Thank you, that's what I have been trying todo is leave it alone. I just had two lay so I have a total of five! Crossing my fingers.
