We got a Leo 43 Grams a few weeks back
It would not eat after 2 weeks so we got some wax worms and mealies. He took the wax worms right away by feeding with a large feeding tweezer
Then we fed mealies the same way she ate a few
We left a mealie dish which she did not touch after the first feeding we tried feeding more mealies with feeding tongs and she refused to take them. So we tried mini crickets she took these via the feeding tongs 3 -4 and then also took supers the same way about 2
Days later she still would not eat mealies so we bought some more tiny crickets she ate two with the feeding tongs and i put three more in the enclosure. Two days later the mini crickets are just roaming around freely and the newly refreshed mealie bowl is not touched.
I decided to get some larger crix (mediums) We fed one to her by feeding tongs and she ate it right away but the one that is live and roaming in the tank she refuses to acknowledge.
Here is where I am at today. Just some background. She has three hides a warm (87 to 94 degrees), a moist hide and a cool hide around 77 - 80 degrees. She is drinking water and she poops once every other day
I am just trying to figure out why she is not going after her food in anyway unless she is fed by tongs. Any suggestions as I am at whits end to this point on why she is not eating.
She is very friendly and does not mind being handled, she is not aggressive at all.
Your expertise in this is greatly appreciated
