Cant seem to find...

the answer to this one... I have a couple of eggs that have been dented for 3-4 days now. One egg is "transparent" and the other is not. I lifted both eggs up today to see if the underside of them was dented also and they are not. Ive been reading and cant seem to find a window of after they dent, when do they hatch... could it be anywhere from 1-5 days? 3-10 days? I hope you guys understand what Im trying to ask. Im just trying to figure out if my babies died while hatching. Thanks.

ps I know pics would help immensely, but I am at work. Sorry.

From what I have read it is anywhere from 1 day to a week. How many days have they been incubating, and at what temp? If it has been more than a week more than likely it died in the egg. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.
