Hello everybody Just last year i managed to get my hand on what i thought be would a killer raptor and het raptor breeding grp
1 male red eye raptor about 62grams
2 het raptor RS <<<<< Great looking 68ish grams both
2 tremper jungle het RS 58 grams and 62 grams

well here is my ploblem the male is doing his job with the 2 tremper jungles and i have gotten ...18 eggs i think from those 2 alone "awesome" but my dreams lol of poducing my first raptor this season seem to be fading fast. The male has reproduced with the 2 trempers but i can not seem to get him to produce with the 2 het raptors. When one of the female trempers is placed in his box he gets straight to work lol but...... after a break "kept apart 3weeks" when i tried to introduce any of the het raptor females he tries for a few mins and then i tend to see him at the front of the box on the side in a position that looks to be trying to climb up the side motion and he wont get the job done with the none of the het raptor females? Any clue how to fix this problem so i might stand a chance of producing some little raptor babies this season?

have you tried a "one night stand"? LOL sorry, I just had to say it :p he probably needs to get to know them before he does it. Hope you get some raptors

Are your female het raptors ovulating?
If so, I would try leaving him with them for a week or so.

Thats exactly how I'm feeling. My season has been slow, 11 hatchlings and not even from my exciting projects.

I have gotten around 21 infetiles from my 1st year breeders. Next year will be better, hopefully this year will make a turn around.

I don't know much about breeding, but make sure that the females get along well together before leaving them alone with the male for a while. I have heard of other breeders having females that want to kill eachother when being in with a male

Take the cage you will have them in and clean it REALLY well. You want to remove any scents. Once you have done that place both females in at the same time. Wait a day or two then intro the male. I have ALMOST always had success this way.

I keep all my females with the male at least 3 days (was doing it a week befopre that) even tho I see them mate withing the first 20 minutes its always a good idea just to make sure .
