Cardboard hides

My buddy just got a baby leopard gecko tonight, and he dident feel like spending alot of money on hides,so he maid a humid hide and a cardboard box hide, I was just wondering if cardboard was ok to use. Please help me thanks!:main_thumbsup:

Thanks alot, Im new im efx's best friend, and I just got a baby leo last night because it was my bday. Im going to be posting alot of questions :) I maid a humid hide with efx's help and I maid a neat cardboard hide, Im going to try offering him some food. He eats crikets at the pet store but im going to feed him some mealworms. thanks for your help.

I used to use small cardboard boxes as hides and when they got dirty or worn out Id just throw them away and make a new one.
