Hello guys,

I am looking for a very complete book about how to care leopard gecko.

I know that many of you recommend Ron's books. In my country I just find the "Leopard Gecko Manual" this book does not seem to be very complete. I think it only teaches the "general".

I'd like to buy the "The Next Generations" but it is extremely expensive (book + shipping to my country = $82). I wonder if there is any good alternative even if it is from another author.

I have good articles that the authors available free online but for me is not the same as having a book.

Thanks

For many reasons:
- Some information from the internet contradicts itself
- We have to support who is dedicated to the study of geckos buying books they publish
- Personally I'd rather have a good book in my hands (probably I'm getting old)
- etc.

But ok I'll take a look and keep what I find most relevant...

Thanks jxl22

eg: I've seen on the internet one caresheet (somewhere in google) saying that the Leopards Geckos needed UVB light and this is not true. And other things that are not true...

Then I like more books certainly who writes them knows of what writes.

But as I told you I then read the caresheets there are on the forum. I'm sure are good!

Thanks

I'm with you, I'm old fashioned I guess and I prefer an actual book. For one, it's a book, for two, it's a one stop reference, versus having to search all over the internet for the information you need.
Have you checked ebay in your country? That might be a much more affordable option for finding that book. Do you have Craigslist? That might work too, if you post in the "wanted" section.

It's nice to see that in these days of electronics there are still others out there who appreciate an actual book. :)
