So I was wondering if there is anything I could do for Bonnie when she gets so gravid that she gets uncomfortable...she seems very restless...always walking around the viv looking up and at time standing up on the glass acting as though she is trying to climb out. Any insight on this behavior? And is there anything I could add to my regimen..like warm soaks?

Also Im getting ready to have my first hatchling...first clutch laid 2/2/11...Ive got a sterlite bin with a UTH on one side and papertowel for substrate...Obviously calcium in viv and hides anything that you breeders have found to be useful but not exactly mainstream that i can do to prepare??

I know I probably have a ways to go on incubation..Im incubating at 81degrees give or take a degree flux. But Im getting impatient and need something to start doing...trying to fight the urge to candle or touch my eggs LOL:main_laugh::p

I would just let her be. Warm soaks would help if she was holding in the eggs. But just leave her alone to not cause stress.

Thanks Joey...She's in her moist hide laying right now! She just seemed extra restless this time. Im with you I try to no mess with her during the days prior to laying to not stress her.

Any suggestions folks on preparing for hatchlings??

Just make sure you have the tank/tub ready and a heating device. You should keep the tank/tub moist until their first shed.
