Carrot tail question

A couple of months ago I went to a petco and saw both of these SHTCTs for sale for $24.99 each and got the two best looking ones. Ct #1 had an awsome carrot tail from the start, just look at the first pic. Then fastforward to today and that second pic is him/her today. That pigment migration on the tail is great! :D I love how much carroting has developed. Then there is Ct #2. He/she has hypoed out nicely and the carroting is coming, but not as fast as the other one. Based on these pictures, how much carroting do you guys think both will have? And do you think they will be baldies? Im not an "expert" when it comes to SHTCTs becuase I never really planned on getting any, but hybinos are awsome and Im going to breed these to bells next season to get some nice tangerines het bell. I hope they are both female, but I doubt it. Probably males. When I got them they were 3-4grams each. Since ive never worked with carrot tails before I dont know much about how the carroting forms, but Im assuming that ct #1 will be at least 60% and the other should be more than 20% by maturity, right?

Maybe I could get some bell stripes as an "extra" a few generations after ct #2?

Thanks :)

Does anyone know who supplies petco? Ive always wondered how they could be getting $100+ geckos and be selling them for $25.

Very nice looking geckos! I've seen quite a few really nice ones at the PetCo near us, I'm always tempted but we never have the room :(.

ok so i think i'm getting it finally, carrot tail refers to the amount of orange on the tail, all this time i was thinking it meant the tail was shaped differently, am i right about the color thing now?
