what is the difference between carrot tails, tangerine, and sunglow geckos. they all seem to look similar to me? sunglows and tangerines seem to be much more though. can someone shed some light for me?
Sunglows are a super hyo carrot tail albino witch is a morph.
Tangs are just a leo with more orange on its body.
carrot tails are a leo with a good amount of orange on its tail.
hope it helps any other questions just pm me:main_thumbsup:
Pretty much everybody else already said it, but just for fun, I will say it again.
A carrot-tail in my opinion is a gecko with at least 40% carrot-tail. Other considers this 15% and there is nothing wrong with this. The carrot-tail trait is normal crossed with the tang trait.
A tangerine is just a gecko that has an orange, yellow, or red color, through out most of its body and head. It can also have a carrot-tail which my be a factor as why this is difficult to understand.
A sunglow is just an albino (normally tremper strain. The other strains are normally referred to as hybinos) It can be tang, and have a carrot-tail as well. The only difference is the albino gene.
Here are references to a carrot-tail, a tangerine, a tangerine carrot-tail, and a sunglow.
