Carrot tail?

I know that this guy is a hybino or sunglow if you will, but i wanted to know if that is a carrot tail in there. The orange is kinda faint and my camera is bad so these are the best pics i could manage to get.

thanks. i thought it was. i just bred him to my female (who displays a slight amount of carrot tail. I know it is less that 15% but there is orange in her tail). so i hope the babies have it.

Yup thats a gentic carrot tail most people wouldn't say its a carrot tail because of such a lack of it. Are you gonna breed it if you do breed it to another carrot tail then line breed and you can get some real intesnse carrot tails.

well i bred him to my female who wouldnt exactly be considered a carrot tail because the orange doesnt cover 15% or her tail but the orange in her tail is like broken up and bright orange. so i am hoping that some of the babies will display the carrot tail trait. I only have one male and one female though. I am thinking about getting another female to breed but i dont wanna get so many babies and have nothing to do with them so i am starting out small and i will expand slowly.
