Cat Ba Leopard Gecko

So I have been writing an article on my website about the Cat Ba leopard gecko found in Asia. But all related information was pretty stale all I could find out was it was discovered last month and its "proven" to be a new species of leopard gecko, supposedly.

I am not going to link the article because well I don't know if theirs any rules about that. But so far the information I have collected is in my siggy in the articles on the home page. Anyways I was looking through morphs to see if maybe it was something which does already exist and maybe this was all hyped out of proportion. I thought the eyes look somewhat similar to eclipse?

Anyone have any thoughts on it? Or information to help me finish the article? Or is the whole story totally a mystery at the moment?

*I started making write- ups of everything I research so I don't forget it all later on. Sharing is the bonus lol.

That gecko looks like some species of cave gecko. I doubt it belongs to the genus Eublepharis.

Omg thankyou! I just looked up a cave gecko and they do look identical in many ways. I will update my article. Thanks hun, mystery solved lmao.
