At 7:00am today I heard something fall and ran into my reptile room. There on the floor was one of my hovabators and the eggs were still in the tubs except one tub. So I picked them up and made sure the line/number was still on the egg upright and put them back. I took my daughter to school and I went to check the temp and the eggs and one baby had hatched( a Blazing Blizzard). I was excited but I am still worried that the ones that turned won't hatch and die. :( Anyone had this happen before and still had babies? I am so worried now!!! Thanks Deb

I really don't have an answer for you. But, I have had eggs get turned over for longer periods of time and still hatch. The only thing I would be worried about is the trama from the fall. How far did they fall and do any of the eggs look like they were damaged in any way?

Thanks Brandy and Marcia!! I feel better knowing that your eggs hatched just fine, Marcia. None of the eggs in my case were damaged but they fell about 2 ft. And like I said a little baby was found in the incubator about 30 minutes later so I guess he was in a hurry to get out! I will keep you posted if anymore hatch. In my other incubator I had 5 babies a mack snow, 2 codom snows, a blazing blizzard and a dark blizzard. In the egg dept I am doing OK but I am just having some bad luck this year. I am trying to recover from a bout of Pneumonia right now so I just do not need to worry about them right now. Thanks , Deb

Edit: I forgot to put a 2 in front of the codom snows

I acidentally dropped a deli cup with a clutch in it and they were probably three weeks in. Both hatched fine about a week ago.
